The lobby area had a modern vibe and comfortable seating.
The hot water in the shower took too long to warm up in the morning.

Friendly staff save the day
The staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. I loved the clean room, and the breakfast spread added a nice touch to my mornings.
However, the breakfast area was often overcrowded, which made it challenging to find seating. I wished there were better arrangements during peak hours.

The Bay City Inn provided a very comfortable stay during my work trip. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The room was clean and quiet, which was crucial for a restful night before my meetings. I also appreciated the convenient location near major highways and the great coffee available during breakfast.
Breakfast area was crowded with limited seating.

missingWrote a review on 08 Julconvenient locationwaffle machinedirty towels
The location sits right near a busy freeway, convenient for quick access around. The hotel offers a small breakfast area, complete with a waffle machine, making mornings a bit sweeter despite the cramped space.
The pillows felt awful, like bags of rags, and the bed had noticeable lumps and stains, which is less than ideal for resting. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with worn towels—both spotty and one even had large holes. Carpet felt old and musty, complete with shards of broken glass on the floor, indicating it hadn’t been vacuumed properly. Noise from the busy freeway was constant, making for a restless night. The breakfast area felt cramped, with barely enough seating. it seemed more designed to push people out rather than to encourage a pleasant meal. Plus, the strange vibes during breakfast with staff staring at guests was unsettling.

I appreciated the friendly staff who made check-in smooth and welcoming. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. The only downside was the breakfast area. it felt a bit crowded, and seating was limited during peak hours. Still, having breakfast available was nice, especially the fresh waffles. Overall, I enjoyed my time here despite the breakfast situation.
